COVID-19 Update

To our patients,

As you all know, the COVID-19 (coronavirus) is becoming a concern for everyone. As a dental provider, I wanted to reach out and tell you what we are doing to make sure you are safe while in our office.

We practice infection control standards that are above the industry standard. After a patient is dismissed from a treatment room, all surfaces in the room are disinfected. The medical-grade disinfection solution that we clean our rooms with between patients kills every virus and bacteria from the coronavirus to HIV, to tuberculosis. We scrub, ultrasonically clean, and then autoclave all of our dental instruments, including our drills. This prevents the transmission of any communicable disease.

We want you to know that each time you come to our office, you are in a safe and sterile environment. As doctors and staff, we all wash and/or sanitize our hands for every patient. None of our personal protective equipment is reused. Every time a doctor or staff member sits down to see you, all of the disposable supplies that will be used are new.

If any staff member is sick, they have been instructed to stay home. If they come to work and show symptoms, they will be sent home. We also ask that if you are sick, please call us and we will reschedule your appointment at no charge.

Certainly, your dental health is important to us. Even more important is the overall health and safety of you and your family members This is why we pride ourselves on going to such lengths to keep our treatment rooms, reception room and restroom so clean, disinfected and sanitized throughout the day.

We know that these types of situations can be stressful for everyone, and we hope sharing this will ease some of your concerns. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our office by phone or email. Thank you—not only for allowing us to care for your dental needs—but also for trusting us to keep you safe and healthy while in our care.

Sincerely,

Dr. Mark Reber
